Cellos

French cello by Thierry à Paris
Second half of the 19th century
This cello is a very fine example of French cello making from the later part of the nineteenth century. Cellos by Thierry à Paris are rare to find and this one is in excellent condition.
The sound is rich and full of color with the projection and character of cellos costing twice as much. Great for solo, chamber and orchestral work, it plays very evenly and is comfortable and rewarding to play.

Polstein & White
Made in Boston, 2016
Two outstanding Boston makers, David Polstein and Chris White have joined forces to collaborate in making this fine cello. Of comfortable proportions with a full resonant sound that is easy to produce, this cello is a great choice for all styles of performance. Made on a personal model inspired by classic Italian lutherie, this poplar back cello produces a rich and projecting sound.
